SANDPIPERS These fun loving birds have two resting positions which captures their playful gestures along the shore line.
PIT FIRING This firing process is one of the oldest known techniques used by man. The sandpipers are slowly eased into the fire and covered with wood, sawdust, seaweed and other burnable materials. As the flames, and smoke lick the surface of the birds shades of browns, blacks, and white start to appear. When the birds are pulled out of the smoldering fire the individual personality of each bird is revealed.
The Sandpipers come in two different sizes:
Large 4.5" X 7.5" X 5.5" Small 3.5" X 6.5" X 4"
